PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of maintenance and inspection points in a control circuit and capacitors that are consumables for an electromagnetic actuator for operating a switch of a GIS device wherein a number of switches for opening and closing a power line are disposed, to reduce the length of a control cable and its space, and also to reduce wire impedance. SOLUTION: The switching control system includes: operation panels 9, each housing an electromagnetic actuator 91 provided corresponding to each of switches 5, 5a, 6, 8, 8a, provided near a switching device 100 provided with the plurality of switches 5, 5a, 6, 8, 8a; and an exciting current control circuit 20 provided in one or more operation panels 9, that are less in number than the switches.
