SOLUTION: This female screw machining device includes a rotational driving part 6 for rotatably driving a tap part 4, and includes an advance-retreat driving part 7 for driving this rotational driving part 6 so as to freely advance-retreat in the axial direction of the tap part 4 installed to the rotational driving part 6, and includes a sequence control part 8 arranged so as to be freely rotatable and freely advance-retreat by installing the tap part 4 in the rotational driving part 6 and controlling the operation of respective driving parts 6 and 7 so as to gradually advance while alternately repeating forward rotational advance operation for forming a female screw part 5 of a predetermined lead angle when this tap part 4 advances while forwardly rotating by a predetermined rotational angle and inverse rotational retreat operation for retreating while inversely rotating by the predetermined rotational angle along this formed female screw part 5.
