<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of suppressing agglomeration of a newly supplied toner and suppressing occurrence of fog due to charging failure of toner, and to provide an image forming apparatus provided with the developing device. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device 141 includes: a developer conveyance path 37 for conveying a developer containing a nonmagnetic toner and a magnetic carrier; a wall portion 38 including a wall surface 39 for defining the developer conveyance path 37; a developing roller 11 for supplying a toner from the developer conveyance path 37 to a predetermined image bearing member 135; conveying members 17, 19 extended in the developer conveyance path 37 and for conveying the developer while agitating; a toner supply port 21 arranged above the developer conveyance path 37 for supplying the new toner into the developer conveyance path 37 from the outside; and a scraping member 40 arranged at a position below the toner supply port 21 in the developer conveyance path 37 and adapted to scrape off the toner stuck to the wall surface 39 while sliding in contact with the wall surface 39 of the wall portion 38. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
