<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out automation while reflecting intentions of a user in image processing carried out by referring to a particular portion. <P>SOLUTION: In a digital still camera 11, image data are generated, and an image file integrally provided with the image data and an image processing control data PIM is created. An image processing mode desired by the user, particular portion data in the image data, or the like are included in the image processing control data PIM. The image processing mode means a method of image processing such as tone correction and blurring. The portion information is information indicating the particular portion in the image data referred in image processing.
