摘要 PURPOSE: A robot having a communication function and an operation method thereof are provided to enable communication between the robot and a user as the robot detects a user's motion touching the robot body and generates a motion signal corresponding to the user's feeling. CONSTITUTION: A robot having a communication function comprises a plurality of touch wheel sensors(10) and a controller(20). The touch wheel sensors are installed in a plurality of positions of a robot body. The controller recognizes operation on one or more of the touch wheel sensors and controls the generation of a pre-set motion signal of the robot body corresponding to the operation.
