<p>The method involves user writing a personal secret code by hand on a mailpiece (12) e.g. envelope, bearing a unique identification number (12A), and acquiring personal secret code and unique identification number that are borne by the mailpiece. The acquired secret code and the unique identification number are sent to a remote computer server (18). The received personal secret code is compared with a personal secret code of the user pre-recorded in the remote computer server. An independent claim is also included for a computer program including code instructions to perform a method for securing franking.</p> |
