The method involves performing decorrelation of block of several information items to generate a decorrelated block, and storing the decorrelated block. A group of information items of decorrelated block is decoded and then decorrelated. The processes of decoding and decorrelating of different groups of information items are performed until decoding criterion is satisfied. An independent claim is included for decoding device.
