The device has a housing (1) with exchangeable supports (2), and a freely rotatable stick (3) that is provided with a welding piece (4) and a handle (5) at lower and upper ends. A rod drive is provided for moving the stick with respect to an aligned surface of a body (13) and is designed as a lever (6). A shifting component shifts the stick with the drive. A running part of the stick is smooth and is in cylindrical shape. A connection assembly is formed as a clamping disk (8), which is provided at the stick and is pre-suspended with respect to the housing. The housing is formed as a frame.
