METHOD OF REASONING ON BASIC ONTOLOGIES

PURPOSE: A basic ontology based reasoning method is provided to enable a user to obtain drug, prescription, or disease information by extracting regulations based on ontology. CONSTITUTION: A basic ontology based reasoning method comprises steps of: searching the relation between inputted symptoms of a disease and effectiveness from a basic ontology; searching the relation between the effectiveness and drugs from the basic ontology if the effectiveness exists; and outputting the searched drug information. Therefore a user easily provides accurate information about the prescription and drugs.
