A drum beet washer comprises a body, on which a drive and horizontal parallel shafts, connected thereto with supporting wheel blocks are arranged. On said shafts a drum with perforated coils along the entire length of the internal cylindrical surface, with a loading cone and an end sieve on one side and an unloading cone from the other are mounted. On the internal conical surface of the unloading part radial flat blades inclined at angle to generatrices of the conical surface in the direction of an unloading opening are disposed. Under the blades (in the rotational direction of the drum) in bearings cylindrical brushes comprised by radial resilient threads are mounted. Said brushes touch the edges of the flat inclined blades and partially project beyond said edges. |
