The invention relates to ceramic industry. The task of the invention is the decreasing of sponginess of ceramic articles, achieved by the selection of component composition and the process for the preparation of binding agent. The composition for the preparation of binding agent comprises ethyl silicate, acid catalyst, water, water-soluble salts of NaNO, Al(NO)9HO and Ca(NO). The process for the preparation of binding agent comprises ethyl silicate hydrolysis by water with acid catalyst and mixing of components with the preparation of sol of silicic acid, to which step-by-step water-soluble salts of NaNO, Al(NO)9HO and Ca(NO)are added before the beginning the process of its polycondensation, drying of the formed gel, further baking and grinding of the baked material. The invention allows decreasing the sponginess of articles in 8.2-12.2 times and increasing their heat resistance in 1.3-1.9 times. |
