A method of manufacturing an incense-coated template in a variety of ornate designs by cutting a template of the desired shape by hand or machine and coating the template with wood powder and aromatics. This invention can be used to enhance religious rituals and festivities where incense is commonly used. It can also be used to create a visual connotation to the purposes behind the use of the incense. The template may be cut from a variety of papers or woods. The shape is coated with alternating layers of water and wood powders containing adhering properties, which form the incense coating. The shape is then given a desired color and an aromatic comprised of any one of or combination of scented oils, fragrant woods, powdered resins or herbs. |
