PURPOSE: A UI menu change method for efficiently selecting a menu item including a preference category, a genre and a detail item is provided to convert a priority about menu items within a UI(User Interface) menu image by searching user preference information. CONSTITUTION: A microcomputer refers to the additional information of a content program(S10). The microcomputer perform the management and update of user preference information(S11). In case a user interface menu display is requested, the microcomputer searches the user preference. The microcomputer determines the priority about menu items(S12).
