PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accelerate drying of ink while restraining power consumption even when continuously printing images with a large amount of ink ejection. SOLUTION: This inkjet recording device 1 ejecting ink on a recording medium 3 from a recording head to form an image includes a hot air device 9 blowing out hot air A for drying the ink ejected on the recording medium; a power supply unit 7 supplying the recording head with electric energy for ejecting ink ; and a heat exhaust supply device 10 supplying the hot air device 9 with heat exhaust B generated from the power supply unit 7. The heat exhaust B of high temperature generated from the power supply unit 7 is utilized as intake air of the hot air device 9. Power consumption when generating hot air can thereby be restrained.
