PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated article that has excellent throwing power, electrodeposition coating applicability onto an alloyed hot dip galvanized steel sheet, finish of a cationic electrodeposition coating film, and anti-corrosion properties and that further has excellent finish of a multilayered coating film on the cationic electrodeposition coating film by a 3C1B process. SOLUTION: A cationic electrodeposition coating composition includes an amino group-containing epoxy resin (A) obtained by reacting an epoxy resin (A1) having an epoxy equivalent of 500-2,500 with an amine compound (A2) represented by general formula (I): R<SP>1</SP>-NH-R<SP>2</SP>, and a blocked polyisocyanate curing agent (B).
