The toilet block holder comprises two perforated snap-fitting swivel open parts (10) which through at least one resiliently pliable element (18) spring open from the closed position to the open position which is restricted by a locking device (16) which when released allows the two parts to open further. The locking device can have a guide holding part (20) provided on one part of the holder and interacting with an engagement pin (22) on the other. The two parts an be connected together on their side remote from the closure device by articulated points forming the pliable element. The closure device can have a press button (36).
