PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably discharge a droplet material by recovering clogging of a nozzle even when consumption of the droplet material is reduced. SOLUTION: In a method by which non-discharge of droplets from the nozzle 2 of an inkjet device that has a head 1 having the nozzle 2 for discharging the droplets and a tank 4 for supplying the ink 5 to the head 1 is improved, the tank 4 is moved up to reach a position where the liquid level 5a of the ink in the tank 4 becomes higher than the height of the droplet discharge surface of the head 1 from the discharge position when the droplets are discharged from the head 1. The non-discharge state of the nozzle 2 of the head 1 is recovered by wiping the droplet discharge surface of the head 1 with a wiping sheet 8 on which a solvent comprising at least a part of components of a solution forming the ink 5 is applied as the liquid level 5a in the tank 4 is kept at a position higher than the height of the droplet discharge surface of the head 1.
