摘要 <p>Provided is a secondary battery in which when the secondary battery becomes upside down, the time from when an electrolyte in each cell chamber flows out from an exhaust stack into each independent exhaust channel until the electrolyte reaches a gas exhaust outlet is delayed, thereby improving the liquid leakage prevention effect. The secondary battery comprises a lid body provided to a battery case, an upper lid provided to the lid body, and a lid plate provided to the upper lid and discharges gas discharged from each cell chamber in the battery case to the outside through a gas filter. The secondary battery also forms on the lid plate (1a) of the lid body (1); a pair of first and second exhaust stacks (31, 32) communicatively connected to each of the cell chambers (40a, 40a, ...) in the battery case (40); and exhaust channels (6a, 6a, ...) each being independent and each surrounding between the pair of exhaust stacks (31, 32). The secondary battery further projects, into an inner channel (6a1) formed in a small chamber of each of the exhaust channels (6a), a ring-shaped rib (33a) surrounding the first and second exhaust stacks (31, 32) and having a notch opening (34), and puts the upper end of the second exhaust stack (32) in a cup-shaped covering part (35) hanging down and projected from the back surface of the upper lid (20). In the secondary battery, a partition (60) is projected on the upper surface of the lid plate (1a) of the lid body (1) and between the notch opening (34) of the ring-shaped rib (33a) and the second exhaust stack (32).</p>
