PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent communication from being disabled near a radio base station, and to enlarge a cell to a far distance. SOLUTION: A control section 102 in the radio base station 1 performs first weight control for setting weights of adaptive array antennas 108A-108D so that a cell in a shape close to a circle is formed at the timings of a main CCH and a sub CCH, based on a reception level in notification information from a radio terminal, sets weights of the adaptive array antennas 108A-108D so that a cell in a shape close to a circle is formed at the timing of the main CCH, and performs second weight control for setting weights of the adaptive array antennas 108A-108D so that a cell having large irregularities formed on its outer edges is formed at the timing of the sub CCH.
