PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental alloy material which has an elongation high enough to support a dental ceramic, a suitable hardness, and a suitable coefficient of thermal expansion in spite of containing no elements of a carcinogenic risk such as nickel, no elements of unknown toxicity, and no elements apt to be oxidized upon being molten in air such as titanium, and can be applied to fabricate dental restoration pieces by laser sintering, and to provide a production method therefor.
SOLUTION: The dental alloy material used by coating a dental ceramic by baking comprises 22.7-26.7 wt.% Cr, 5.5-7.5 wt.% Mo, 4.0-6.0 wt.% W, 0.4-0.6 wt.% Fe, 1.0-2.0 wt.% Si, 0.2-0.4 wt.% Mn, 0.08-0.12 wt.% C, and the remainder comprising Co and a trace amount of unavoidable impurities. In the production of the dental alloy material, chromium carbide containing carbon in amount equal to the weight of the carbon is added, and chromium is added in an amount resulting by subtracting the weight of the chromium contained in the chromium carbide added from the specified weight.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
