PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve image quality of an image printed when liquid is switched to first liquid from second liquid. SOLUTION: The liquid jetting apparatus includes: a nozzle train that jets liquid to a medium; a switching part that switches the liquid to be supplied to the nozzle train to either the first liquid for recording or the second liquid for preventing clogging; and a controller that performs dot forming operation for forming dots on pixels arranged in a moving direction of the medium by allowing the nozzle train to jet the liquid therefrom while moving the nozzle train in a moving direction crossing with a conveying direction of the medium, and controls, when the liquid to be supplied to the nozzle train is switched to the first liquid from the second liquid by controlling the switching part, to form the dots every predetermined pixels in the moving direction of the medium by succeeding some dot forming operation, and to form the dot between the dots formed by some dot forming operation by another dot forming operation after performing some dot forming operation.
