<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical-luminescence electrolyte to achieve electrochemical-luminescence with metal complex at high efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: In the electrochemical-luminescence electrolyte including metal complex, supporting electrolyte, reducing agent, and solvent, the above solvent includes at least one sort chosen from a group including aprotic polar organic solvent and alcohol, while the above supporting electrolyte includes halogen-including oxoate.
