PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment device capable of detecting the remaining amount of an additive and informing a user of life time of the additive. SOLUTION: The additive 7 to be added to water is packed into a water passage 1 and a remaining amount-detecting means 20 which is disposed in contact with the packed layer of the additive 7, is driven in accordance with the decrease of the additive 7 and, thereby, detects the remaining amount of the additive 7 is disposed.
