The method involves showing information about momentary driving behavior of a driver in an indicating region i.e. outer shell (1), of an indicator, where the information about existence of conformity of momentary driving behavior of driver in an operating mode is transmitted. Information about past driving behavior of driver is shown in another indicating region i.e. inner shell (2), of the indicator, where the information about existence of conformity of momentary driving behavior of driver in the operating mode is transmitted and the driving behavior determines a period in the past.
