PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sugar-coated sweets comprising a sugar-coated layer part having a crisp texture and an extremely soft central layer part. SOLUTION: The method for producing an aerated sugar-coated gummi candy includes: a step of aerating a gummi candy base comprising sugar and gelatin as main components to give dough, packing the dough into a mold and drying the molded dough to prepare an aerated gummi candy having a specific gravity of 0.5-1.1; a step of coating the aerated gummi candy as a core material with sugar; and a step of heating the obtained sugar-coated product at 50-100°C for 3-12 hours during and/or after the production of the sugar-coated product.
