PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil separator for an air conditioner capable of reducing the discharge pulsation or air-column vibration of a compressor without increasing the number of components, the number of manufacturing man-hours and an installation space. SOLUTION: The oil separator 50 includes: an inlet pipe 56 connected to a discharge port of the compressor, penetrating a lid 53 and communicating with the inside of a case 51; an outlet pipe 59 connected to a condenser, penetrating the lid 53 and communicating with inside of the casing 51; and a mesh 57 which is provided at a tip of the inlet pipe 56 penetrating the lid 53 and on which atomized lubricating oil mixed in a refrigerant is sprayed to drop the lubricating oil down to the inside of the case 51. In the outlet pipe 59, a tip 59a penetrating the lid 53 is protruded to the inside of a cylindrical part 52 toward a bottom 54, and lubricating oil in the case 51 reaching an opening end of the tip 59a is discharged to the condenser.
