PURPOSE:To obtain a deeply colored ultrafine fiber, suitable for a suede nonowoven fabric, resistant to practical washing and a perfume liquid, and having improved water and weather resistance, by spun-dyeing one component of a multicomponent composite fiber. CONSTITUTION:A multicomponent composite fiber of less than 0.7de, consisting of at least three components, wherein polyethylene terephthalate (P), preferably spundyed with 1-10wt% of a pigment other than carbon black is used as the core component A, and P which is not spun-dyed or spun-dyed in a color higher than A is used as the sheath component B. More preferably, the core and the sheath components are separated by the interposed component C, e.g. styrene-actyl acrylate copolymer, and the component A is used in an amount of 30wt% or more based on the component B. |
