PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for a power storage device capable of thinning a film, excellent in ion permeability, with low resistance, hardly causing short-circuiting and self discharging between electrodes, and excellent in durability in a long-term usage under high-temperature environment with existence of electrolyte for power storage device driving. SOLUTION: In the separator for a power storage device made by laminating two or more fiber layers, a fiber layer on the surface contains fiber A with a mass reduction rate immersed in negative electrode side electrolysis solution of 0% to 5%, a fiber layer on the opposite side of the surface contains fiber B with a mass reduction rate immersed in positive electrode side electrolysis solution of 0% to 5%. The fiber A is fibrillated solvent spinning cellulose with a fiber diameter to be 1μm or less and a fiber length to be 3 mm or less, and the fiber B is preferably at least one or more kinds selected from polyethylene terephthalate, polybutylene terephthalate, wholly aromatic polyester, wholly aromatic polyamide, and polyarylate.
