PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which can prevent foreign materials from being mixed in manufacturing an absorber having slits, and a device.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an absorber 4 having slits 43, 45 by making a cut in a thickness direction while an absorber precursor 4a is transported in one direction R is provided. The method includes a process of tightly pressurizing the absorber precursor 4a by a cutter roll 61 having cutting blades 63, 64 on a peripheral surface and an anvil roll 62 for forming the slits 43, 45. In the process, the slits 43, 45 are formed while foreign materials attached to a peripheral surface of the anvil roll 62 due to the formation of the slits 43, 45 are removed. The cutter roll 61 is arranged on an upper side in a vertical direction, and the anvil roll 62 is arranged on a lower side in the vertical direction to form the slits. |
