PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a static electricity eliminating member for surely destaticizing a member to be destaticized, and surely preventing electrostatic breakdown of the member to be destaticized by electrostatic discharge. SOLUTION: This static eliminator 1 includes a carrying part 3 to carry a liquid crystal display panel 2, a mounting part 5 extended from the carrying part 3 to mount the liquid display panel 2 which has been carried, and an ionizer 4 provided face to face with the carrying part 3 and the mounting part 5 to destaticize the liquid crystal display panel 2 by ejecting air 9 containing ions toward the liquid crystal display panel 2. The ionizer 4 destaticizes the liquid crystal display panel 2 mounted on the mounting part 5, after destaticizing the liquid crystal display panel 2 being carried. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
