PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component mounting device for easily removing a component from a mounting hole, while firmly fixing the component to the mounting hole without looseness. SOLUTION: This mounting device includes a base part 20 abutting on the mounting hole surface side and a leg part 30 inserted into the mounting hole 3. A peripheral wall of the leg part 30 is provided with oppositely arranged first engaging pawl 35 and second engaging pawl 40, a third engaging pawl 45 and a fourth engaging pawl 50 arranged between these pawls. The first engaging pawl 35 and the second engaging pawl 40 can deflect inside, and at least third engaging pawl 45 can also deflect inside. The respective engaging pawls have an engaging part for engaging with the reverse side peripheral edge of the mounting hole 3 by swelling in the outer diameter direction. An end part on the side approaching the third engaging pawl 45 of the engaging parts 37 and 42 of the first engaging pawl 35 and the second engaging pawl 40, is cut out by inclined faces 38 and 43 becoming gradually lower to the inner diameter side. An end part of the third engaging pawl 45 is constituted so as to project to its surface side in a state of engaging with the reverse side peripheral edge of the mounting hole 3.
