<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality detector for an electromagnetic brake, capable of accurately detecting any abnormality of the electromagnetic brake. <P>SOLUTION: A back plate 12 is interposed between a brake lining 7 to be pressed against a brake drum and a brake arm 4, and a strain gage 13 is affixed to the back plate 12 to detect the pressure between the brake lining 7 and the brake drum. Any abnormality of an electromagnetic brake is detected by checking the consistency of the pressure with the output of a main control device for executing the operation of the electromagnetic brake. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
