<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber product having more soft touch while sustaining a resilience and lightness in weight. <P>SOLUTION: The fiber product is obtained by producing a blended yarn 2 by blending a water-insoluble fiber comprising animal hair as raw material and a water-soluble fiber, and then producing a woven fabric or knitted fabric at least partly utilizing the blended yarn 2 thus obtained, and then washing thus obtained woven fabric or knitted fabric in a water with a temperature higher than a predetermined temperature to remove the water-soluble fiber.
