<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indicated position detection method capable of securing accuracy of detecting an indicated position sufficient for practical use irrespective of levels of resolution set in an image sensor. <P>SOLUTION: The indicated position detection method includes steps of: imaging a marker 12 attached to a screen 14 in irradiation and non-irradiation with infrared light; determining position information (Xc, Yc) of a pixel having the highest luminance value among pixels constituting an image of the marker 12 in a difference image between both images obtained by imaging; determining position information (Xt, Yt) corresponding to a luminance value higher than the highest luminance value by an interpolation method on the basis of luminance values Bc, Bl, Br of the pixel having the highest value and pixels on both sides; and specifying an indicated position on the screen 14 on the basis of the position information (Xt, Yt). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
