<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the content of cutting wastes in coolant fluid so as to be circulatingly used as coolant fluid by filtering through a drum screen the cutting wastes, such as suspended shavings and chips, and by continuously conveying the coolant fluid together with the cutting wastes precipitated on a tray by a spiral conveyor. <P>SOLUTION: An overflow port is disposed on a tilted plate of the tray with a rail and the spiral conveyor loaded thereon. The drum screen is rotatably disposed to surround the overflow port section. The cutting wastes precipitated in the coolant fluid introduced onto the tray is conveyed from the tray to the exterior by the spiral conveyor. The suspended cutting wastes are filtered through the drum screen by admitting the suspended cutting wastes in the coolant fluid into the drum screen through the overflow port of the tray. The coolant fluid is conveyed, together with the cutting wastes precipitated on the tray, from the tray to the exterior by the spiral conveyor, and is then discarded, while the coolant fluid after filtering the cutting wastes is circulatingly used. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
