PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railway vehicle truck having an abnormal rise restricting portion easily adjusting the distance between a tow vehicle and an opposite lateral beam of a truck frame to an appropriate value. SOLUTION: The railway vehicle truck 1 is equipped with: the truck frame 2 including the lateral frame 12 extending along a wheel set 5 to which wheels 3 are mounted; and the tow vehicle 10 connecting together a vehicular body A and the truck frame 2 and transmitting the forward and backward force applied to the frame 2 to the vehicular body. The tow vehicle 10 has: a center pin 13 depending from the underside of the vehicular body A; and a tow link 14 connecting together the truck frame 2 and the lower end of the center pin 13. The link 14 has a front end portion 16 projecting toward the lateral beam 12. The lateral beam 12 has a projection portion 18 projecting toward the center pin 13. An abutment member 19 has an opposite surface 19d that is vertically opposite the bottom surface 18a of the projection portion 18 of the lateral beam 12 with a prescribed spacing therebetween. The abutment member 19 is mounted to the front end portion 16 of the tow link 14, thus constituting the abnormal rise restricting portion that restricts abnormal rises of the vehicular body.
