DEVICE AND METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING MULTIMEDIA DATA IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method and a device for transmitting multimedia broadcasting data in a wireless communication system are provided to maintain the homogeneity of multimedia broadcasting data transmitting through a wireless channel, thereby steadily transmitting data. CONSTITUTION: A RLC SDU(Radio Link Control Service Data Unit) storing unit(1620) stores one part of a RLC SDU or the RLC SDU and generates payload of RLC PDU(Radio Link Control Protocol Data Unit) based on the size of un-received RLU SDUs. The un-received RLC PDU size calculator(1610) calculates the size of the un-received RLC SDU and transmits the RLC SDU storing unit. A RLC PDU generator(1625) determines the amount of data to be accepted to the RLC PDU payload and directs the generation of payload of the RLC PDU of the size to the RLC SDU storing unit.
