PURPOSE: A motor control method and device using interlock is provided to protect FET from the counter electromotive force or the over-current of a motor. CONSTITUTION: A motor control device using interlock comprises a sensor(110), a driving circuit(130) and an electronic control unit(120). The sensor transfers vehicle information, which is related to one of the driving and the steering of a vehicle. The driving circuit generates and transfers motor control current. The electronic control unit blocks the switching of the driving circuit, if the received vehicle information corresponds to predetermined interlock conditions. The electronic control unit controls a motor not to rotate reversely if the motor rotates normally .
