PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device allowing easy and certain detection of an unauthorized obtaining situation of internal information.SOLUTION: The semiconductor device includes one or more temperature detectors 4-11 detecting a temperature distribution on a board mounted with an IC card connector 3 connected with an IC card 2, or a system block 1 mounted with a CPU or the like, previously stores internal temperature distribution information in a normal state for each operation as normal time internal temperature distribution information, decides that an unauthorized obtaining state of unauthorizedly obtaining the internal information occurs when the internal temperature distribution information measured as in-actual-operation internal temperature distribution information by the temperature detectors 4-11 for actual operation has a difference not less than a predetermined threshold value with the stored normal time internal temperature distribution information, and stops device operation. Furthermore, the semiconductor device normalizes the in-actual-operation internal temperature distribution information for the actual operation and the previously stored normal time internal temperature distribution information based on a change of a peripheral temperature measured by a temperature detector 12 outside a casing. |
