<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate an image formation device using power supplied from a main processing device in a stop state of a power source part. <P>SOLUTION: An auxiliary control part 60 is arranged in a processing control part 20 of this image formation device 16, bus power from a host computer 12 is supplied to the auxiliary control part by being changed over to a standby mode, the operation of the auxiliary control part is started, and a main control part 30 and a power source part 36 are stopped. By being operated, the auxiliary control part supplies the bus power to preset parts such as an image reading part 40, a line interface part 42 and an operation panel part 44. When a recovery request is detected by a recovery trigger detection circuit 56, the auxiliary control part determines whether a requested process needs the operation of the power source part or is operated by the bus power, and executes the requested process without operating the main control part nor the power source part when the requested process is operated by the bus power. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
