<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic clinical thermometer which is fixed stably in a place suitable for body temperature measurement in the armpit of a subject and enables quick and correct body temperature measurement. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic clinical thermometer (100) which is held in the armpit of the subject and measures the body temperature of the subject includes a flat-plate-shaped body part (110) and a measuring part (120) which is formed in one end part of the body part and provided with a plurality of temperature sensing parts (122) for sensing the temperature. The measuring part has an outer peripheral surface (121) providing a circular-arc shape or an elliptic-arc shape, and one of the opposed outer peripheral surfaces (111 and 111a) of the body part connecting the other end part of the body part and the measuring part has a shape of a recess and includes a recessed part (112) between the other end part and the measuring part. In the case when the recessed part is made to be located on the upper side of the electronic clinical thermometer, the temperature sensing parts in a plurality are provided on the outer peripheral surface located higher than the recessed part in the part of the circular-arc-shaped or elliptical-arc-shaped outer peripheral surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
