<p>PURPOSE: A fire-resistive composition for a nozzle of an iron industrial furnace is provided to be used for forming a protective layer having excellent resistance to heat impacts and erosion around the nozzle using an indentation device. CONSTITUTION: A fire-resistive composition for a nozzle(11) of an iron industrial furnace includes 40-90 weight% of MgO, 9-50 weight% of SiC, and 1-10 weight% of AIN. The average particle size of the SiC is less than 1mm. A part of the SiC is processed to have a smooth surface through an abrasion treatment. The SiC having the smooth surface is 40-80% of the total SiC. The MgO is coated with a resin in a ratio of 30-50 weight5%.</p> |
