PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a biomass liquefied fuel by liquefying a cellulose biomass at a very high degree of conversion under a mild condition without using a liquid strong acid such as sulfuric acid and a strong base. SOLUTION: The method for producing the biomass liquefied fuel includes: a pretreatment step of making a cellulose biomass raw material by pretreating a cellulose biomass; an addition step of adding the cellulose biomass raw material to an organic solvent to make a cellulose biomass-dispersed solution; and a heat treatment step of heat-treating the cellulose biomass-dispersed solution under presence of a solid catalyst.
