PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet system which does not deteriorate an application function of a remote-control unit, and which achieves low consumption of the remote-control unit. SOLUTION: In a sanitary washing device system which carries out bidirectional communication between the remote-control unit and the sanitary washing device, the sanitary washing device comprises a human body detection means for detecting a user, a transmission portion which transmits information on the detection of the human body detection means to the remote-control unit, a reception portion which receives an operation signal from a remote-control transmitter, and a body transmission and reception control portion which controls the operations of the transmission portion and the reception one; and the remote-control unit comprises a transmission portion which transmits the operation signal to the sanitary washing device, a reception portion which receives a signal from the sanitary washing device, and a remote-control transmission and reception control portion which controls the operations of the transmission portion and the reception one. The remote-control transmission and reception control portion makes the reception portion operate intermittently, and stops the operation of the reception portion during a period from the transmission of a private part washing starting signal to the sanitary washing device to the transmission of the operation signal based on a predetermined operation.
