<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-frequency electric wire firstly excellent in frequency characteristics reducing Joule-heat loss by lowering of a high-frequency alternating current resistance, secondly achieving realizing better cost and so on. <P>SOLUTION: The high-frequency electric wire 6 is provided in such a manner that a large number of strands 7 are bundled, twisted and insulated with an outer sheath S, and each strand 7 has an extra-fine hollow pipe structure of a capillary shape. The strand 7 is provided to make its hollow section 8 an air cavity 9 or to fill its hollow section 8 with an insulating material 10. In the latter case, the strand 7 forms the structure that a metal conductor is deposited on the outer periphery of an extra-fine insulating yarn by plating or vapor-deposition. The electric wire 6 is used, for example, as a circuit cable or a coil in a non-contact power feeding device supplying power based on a mutual induction action of the electromagnetic induction.
