PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal fitting in which it is possible to enlarge a contact surface with a core wire of an electric wire, stable contact reliability with the core wire is obtained, and downsizing becomes possible. SOLUTION: The terminal fittings 1 includes a bottom plate part 31, on which the core wire of the electric wire is placed; a pair of side plate parts 32, extendedly installed from both side parts of the bottom plate part 31; and a tip biting-in part 33, which is installed at the tip of the pair of side plate parts 32 and which bites into the core wire in a crimped state, is caulked and connected to the electric wire terminal. At the end part in the longitudinal direction of the electric wire of the tip biting-in part 33, a thickened part 34 is installed which protrudes from the side plate part 32.
