PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus capable of striking a balance between the execution of data communication on which user's intention is exactly reflected and the securement of operability of the communication apparatus. SOLUTION: An MFP 10 transfers transmission data and setting data held in a transfer queue to a BOX 31 by wireless communication 202. The BOX 31 holds the transmission data received from the MFP 10 in a BOX side transmission data information queue. In addition, the BOX 31 transmits the transmission data held in the BOX side transmission data information queue to a telephone line 47. The MFP 10 holds the setting data to be input in the transfer queue when it is determined that the transmission data is not held in the BOX side transmission data information queue. Alternatively, it is detected whether or not the wireless communication 202 can be performed when it is determined that the transmission data is held, and input of the setting data is refused when it is detected that the wireless communication 202 can not be performed.
