PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the manufacture of an original sleeve printing plate with high suitability for printing by virtue of high precision thickness and ideal surface smoothness for printing and achieve enhanced workability, resources saving and environments maintainability due to a negative film making process and a developing solution process being no longer necessary, although conventionally required thus far. SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing the original sleeve printing plate for laser engraving using a photosensitive resin comprises the following processes: a coating process to supply a photosensitive resin to the outer peripheral surface of the sleeve while rotating it, a process to recover a scraped photosensitive resin solution while fairing/smoothing the surface of the coated solution while scraping off the applied photosensitive resin solution with the help of a doctor blade 3000, and an exposure process 4000 to irradiate the applied photosensitive resin solution with an active ray and form a cured photosensitive resin layer which can be engraved using an infrared laser light.
