<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible stent excelling in flexibility while having sufficient lumen diameter holding force. <P>SOLUTION: The stent is formed in pipe shape with four righ-handed spiral wave elements 1 and four left-handed spiral wave elements 2 shifted by 1/2 in phase. The right-handed spiral wave elements 1 and the left-handed spiral wave elements 2 have 8 cycles of waves on one spiral round, and amplitude is slightly shortened as shown in Fig.2.
