<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operational reliability by preventing a through-current in accordance with the actual operation of a semiconductor switching element. <P>SOLUTION: When measuring an electrification current that flows to an IGBT (BTU2) on a lower arm side, a transistor Q2 senses the electrification current of the IGBT (BTU2) with application voltages of serial resistors R1 and R2. A transistor Q3 then level-shifts an output signal of the transistor Q2.
